What exactly does Instly Scout scan?
Scout retrieves the publicly accessible content of the pages you submit - the same content an AI crawler or search engine would see - and evaluates it across six AI-visibility dimensions. It doesn't access password-protected areas or submit forms.
How is the AI-visibility score calculated?
Each scanned page is assessed on offer clarity, buyer intent, trust proof, AI readability, technical structure, and conversion path. Those six dimensions are weighted into a single 0-100 score. The full report shows the breakdown so you can see what's pulling the number up or down.
Is the benchmark a real search ranking?
No. Benchmark bands are estimates based on scanned-page evidence, not live rankings. They show roughly where your site sits relative to category leaders so you know how much headroom there is.
Do I need to install anything?
Yes. Instly Scout is a Chrome extension, so you install it from the Chrome Web Store. There are no website tags, tracking scripts, or code changes required on the site you want to scan.
Can I scan a site I don't own?
You should only scan sites you own or are authorised to audit. Agencies auditing client sites should ensure they have permission. See our TermsRefunds for details.
How do report links work?
After checkout, the success page links to the unlocked full report and a PDF-ready version. A copy is also sent to the checkout email, and every report stays available under Sign in → My reports.
How do I get back to a report I already bought?
Sign in with the email you used at checkout. We email you a one-time sign-in link - no password to remember - and your reports are listed on the My reports page.
